Metabolic Nurse Practitioner
Michele’s desire is to empower and encourage her patients to achieve health and wellness by applying the science of medicine to their lives. Providing warm and personalized care in a safe, professional, and caring environment defines her practice. Her goal is to see each patient ‘take the baton’ and apply the metabolic, nutritional, and physical aspects of good health to their weight loss journey. She finds her work here professionally as well as personally fulfilling.
After receiving her master’s degree in nursing Michele went on to earn advanced practice post-graduate degrees in adult and geriatric medicine. Later she also earned a post-graduate degree in family medicine. She graduated summa cum laude from each program at the top of her class. Michele’s favorite patient group were the WWII vets she cared for while working in Texas. “These guys truly were ‘The Greatest Generation.’” Her future plans include volunteering for Samaritan’s Purse doing medical missions.
In her spare time Michele enjoys spending time with her 2 sons, their wives, and their children. She likes jet skiing, tennis, traveling, staying fit, entertaining, playing cards, charades, and other party games with friends, gardening and cooking.
