The StomaphyX™ endoscopic surgical pouch reduction and anastomotic revision procedure is available for patients who have previously undergone a gastric bypass surgery and are struggling with weight regain. This device may also be used to treat gastric bypass patients with other problems such as gastric fistula, dumping syndrome or intractable diarrhea. The brief 30-50 minute procedure requires no incisions, minimal recovery and is performed with an endoscope transorally (through the mouth) as day surgery.
