Understandably, Oregon Weight Loss Surgery, LLC (OWLS) patients often enjoy the cosmetic benefits of weight loss surgery with the average patient permanently losing 40-60% of excess body weight. However, the primary treatment goal of bariatric surgery is to reduce the health risks associated with obesity.
